Special attention should be paid to fire safety measures for oil-immersed transformers.
1. The fire separation distance between oil-immersed transformers with an oil capacity of 2500 kg or more and oil-filled electrical equipment with an oil capacity of 600 kg to 2500 kg should not be less than 5 meters.
2. When the fire separation distance between two adjacent oil-immersed transformers does not meet the requirements, a fireproof partition wall or a fireproof partition wall topped with a fire-resistant water curtain should be installed. For single-phase oil-immersed transformers, only a fireproof partition wall or a fire-resistant water curtain is required.
3. When the distance between the exterior wall of the plant and the outer edge of an outdoor oil-immersed transformer is less than that specified in the standard table, the exterior wall should be a fire wall. The distance between this wall and the outer edge of the transformer should not be less than 0.8 meters.
4. When the exterior wall of the plant is within 5 meters of the outer edge of the oil-immersed transformer, no doors, windows, or openings should be made within a range below the horizontal line of the transformer's total thickness plus 3 meters and within 3 meters of each side's outer edge. Doors and fixed windows on the fire wall outside this range should have a fire resistance rating of not less than 0.9 hours.
5. When the oil volume of a single oil-immersed transformer or other oil-filled electrical equipment exceeds 1000 kg, an oil storage pit and a common oil collection pool should be provided, and transformer pebbles should be placed there for fire prevention and oil unloading.
6. Oil-immersed transformers should be equipped with fixed water spray or other fire extinguishing systems according to current relevant regulations. Oil-immersed plant transformers should be located in a separate room with an outward-opening Class B fire-resistant door leading directly to the outside or a corridor, and should not open to other rooms.
