Product Overview
The YBM-12 European-style prefabricated box-type substation (European-style box-type substation) is a new generation of outdoor integrated complete power distribution equipment. It adopts a classic three-compartment independent structure with a 10kV high-voltage switchgear, a power transformer, and a 0.4kV low-voltage switchgear, integrating three core power distribution units. The equipment completes overall assembly, wiring, commissioning, and factory testing in the factory. There is no need to build a civil engineering power distribution room on site; it can be put into operation simply by hoisting it into place and connecting the cables, which greatly shortens the construction period and reduces the project cost.
This product boasts advantages such as compact structure, small footprint, high safety performance, stable operation, low noise, low loss, and maintenance-free operation. Overall Structural Layout
This European-style prefabricated transformer adopts a three-compartment completely independent partition structure . The entire unit is divided into a high-voltage compartment, a transformer compartment, and a low-voltage compartment. Each compartment is isolated by steel plates and has fireproof, arc-proof, sound insulation and noise reduction functions. Each compartment has independent doors, independent ventilation, and independent lighting, so maintenance does not interfere with each other and the safety performance is extremely high.

Equipment Composition and Functional Description
■ High-voltage switchgear unit (high-voltage compartment)
The high-voltage switchgear is the core equipment for 10kV high-voltage power distribution. It is typically equipped with SF6 ring main units and load switch/fuse combination electrical appliances, and can be optionally equipped with vacuum circuit breakers, metering cabinets, PT/CTs, surge arresters, live display devices, grounding switches, and other components. The cabinet body is made of high-strength cold-rolled steel plate, with electrostatic powder coating for corrosion and rust prevention, and strong sealing.
Main functions : Used for 10kV high-voltage power access, circuit breaker control, line protection, high-voltage metering, and lightning protection and grounding. The equipment is equipped with complete electrical five-proof interlocking functions as standard, which can effectively prevent misoperation, eliminate safety accidents such as closing the circuit under power, disconnecting the circuit under load, and accidentally entering the energized compartment, and ensure the stable operation of the high-voltage system.
■ Transformer Unit (Transformer Room)
The transformer is the core equipment for power conversion. Standard configurations include S11, S13, and S20 series fully sealed, low-loss oil-immersed transformers, with optional SCB series dry-type transformers. The transformer room is equipped with a natural ventilation system, temperature monitoring device, maintenance lighting, and an oil-leakage-proof collection tank, ensuring excellent heat dissipation.
Main function : Steps down 10kV high-voltage power to 0.4kV low-voltage power, providing a standard and stable three-phase low-voltage power supply for downstream low-voltage power distribution systems. The equipment features low loss, low noise, stable temperature rise, and maintenance-free operation, and can operate continuously for extended periods.
■ Low-voltage switchgear unit (low-voltage compartment)
The low-voltage switchgear consists of incoming line cabinets, outgoing line cabinets, reactive power compensation cabinets, and metering cabinets. The main switch uses a frame circuit breaker, and the branch circuits use molded case circuit breakers. It can be equipped with multi-functional meters, energy meters, indicator lights, and leakage protection devices. The wiring inside the cabinet is standardized, the circuits are clear, and it features a modular design.
Main functions : Receives 0.4kV power output from the transformer to achieve multi-load distribution; has short-circuit, overload, and leakage protection functions to ensure power safety; the reactive power compensation device automatically improves the power factor, reduces line losses, and improves power quality; and enables remote monitoring and power metering.

1. Foundation construction: Pour concrete foundation according to the manufacturer's drawings, reserve cable trenches and grounding positions, and ensure that the foundation is flat and drainage is unobstructed;
2. Equipment placement: The entire unit is lifted and positioned using a crane, and the container is leveled and secured.
3. Wiring and installation: Connect high and low voltage cables, ensure reliable grounding, and grounding resistance ≤4Ω;
4. Testing and commissioning: Conduct insulation tests, withstand voltage tests, and protection transmission tests, and verify protection settings;
5. Perform no-load and load test runs to confirm that the equipment is free of abnormalities before it can be officially put into operation.
Operation and Maintenance Instructions
1. During the operation of the equipment while it is energized, it is strictly forbidden for non-professionals to open the cabinet door or touch the live parts;
2. High-voltage operations must be performed by certified electricians in strict accordance with regulations;
3. Conduct monthly inspections of the enclosure's appearance, ventilation, temperature, sound, and instrument status to identify potential problems such as leakage, overheating, and condensation;
4. Tighten the wiring terminals, clean the dust inside the cabinet, and check the grounding reliability every quarter;
5. Conduct insulation testing, protection calibration, and transformer oil level and performance checks annually to ensure long-term stable operation of the equipment.
Transportation and Storage
1. During transportation, the equipment should be placed upright and should not be tilted, impacted, or subjected to heavy pressure. It should be protected against rain and shock.
2. The equipment should be stored in a dry, ventilated, and non-corrosive environment. It should not be exposed to the sun for a long time or soaked in water.
Quality Assurance and After-Sales Service
1. This product is manufactured and inspected in strict accordance with national standards. Each piece of equipment undergoes a full inspection before leaving the factory and only those that pass the inspection are allowed to leave.
2. Product warranty period: 12 months from commissioning or 18 months from the date of manufacture (whichever comes first). During the warranty period, non-human-caused damage will be repaired and replaced free of charge.
3. The manufacturer provides installation guidance, debugging, technical training, and rapid after-sales response services.
